Why Joomla.

The reason I have used this CMS in a number of websites is because simply its great!
Well to expand on that a bit, I have found it adaptable to various websites and the needs of the website owner.
It does and can take some skill to set up the 'back end' and the template which is the look and feel of the site (this is what you pay for in design terms). Once done the website owner can then to a certain degree take ownership of the actual content, which is the important bit, without the worry about design.

Extensions for which there are many can be added to the features of the site. These can range from a full shopping cart store to a picture gallery display system.

The cost of using Joomla is very low, in fact its is free, and what you pay for is the hosting, design and support. This can make it very cost effective. In fact if you have some skills you can do this all yourself and only need to pay for the hosting.

One thing I find is typos on this site and others that normally would take time to fix but with a CMS like Joomla correcting them is quick and painless. Also with the text editor feature in the CMS I use there is a spell checker.

So its wort looking at Joomla if you wish to have control over your own site.
