Why Joomla.

The reason I have used this CMS in a number of websites is because simply is its great!
Well to expand on that a bit, I have found it adaptable to various websites and the needs of the website owner.
It does and can take some skill to set up the 'back end' and the template which is the look and feel of the site (this is what you pay for in design terms). Once done the website owner can then to a certain degree take ownership of the actual content, which is the important bit, without the worry about design.

Exstension for which there are many can add to the features of the site. These can range froma full shopping cart to a picture gallery display system.

The cost of using Joomla is very low, to start with it is free, and what you pay for is the hosting, design and support. This can make it very cost effective. In fact if you have some skills you can do this all yourself and only need to pay for the hosting.

This does not mean I will not do static websites or consider other content managerment systems such as Contribute from Macromedia. Its about providing the best solution to the user and the website owner.
